Cristalle Smith has been published in Room Magazine, Arc Poetry Magazine, QWERTY Magazine, The Maynard, and elsewhere. She is the winner of subTerrain Magazine's Lush Triumphant Literary Awards 2020 in Creative Nonfiction.  Cristalle is a PhD student at the University of Calgary in English Creative Writing.

In 2018 she won first prize in the Kelowna Summer Slam hosted by IWC, taking home Poet of the Night.

Cristalle is the co-founder of One Button Press, a chapbook press.

Cristalle writes creative nonfiction and poetry.  She lives in Calgary with her son.
